In 2021, I followed Buffalo’s first-ever wheelchair football team as they competed in a national tournament. The story focused on adaptive athletes discovering a new purpose through competition and camaraderie.
Concrete Gridiron premiered in July 2022 AND raised $45,000 for adaptive sports in Buffalo.
In January 2023, the film was acquired and distributed nationally by PBS.

With momentum and positive reactions from ‘concrete gridiron’, i felt there was more we could do in the wheelchair football space.
So in fall 2023, alongside some great partners in PBS and move united, I produced WHEELCHAIR FOOTBALL’S first-ever multicam broadcast.
with SIX cameras, on-air talent, and halftime packages, we created a groundbreaking show to highlight these amazing athletes.
